How Weldscanner Works

Weldscanner is designed around how fusion inspections actually happen in the field — not how they are reconstructed later.

1

Capture Weld Images On-Site

Inspectors capture weld images directly within the Weldscanner mobile app. Images are taken at the job site, reducing reliance on camera roll photos or post-inspection uploads.

2

Attach Inspection Context

Before submission, inspectors select the weld type and provide required inspection details. This ensures each image is tied to the correct fusion method and inspection context at the time of capture.

3

Generate a Traceable Inspection Record

Weldscanner packages images and metadata into a structured inspection record. Each record is associated with time, location, and inspection inputs to support internal review and quality workflows.

4

Securely Store and Access Records

Inspection records are securely stored and available for supervisors, quality teams, or auditors. Records can be reviewed later without relying on spreadsheets, shared folders, or manual photo sorting.
