By accessing or using Weldscanner, including any mobile applications, websites, or related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Weldscanner provides a mobile-first platform for capturing fusion weld images and associated inspection context in the field. The Service is intended to support inspection documentation, record organization, and traceability.

Weldscanner does not perform weld evaluations, determine pass/fail outcomes, or replace qualified inspection judgment. All inspection decisions remain the responsibility of the user and their organization.

3. License and Access

Access to the Service is provided on a license basis, typically per individual inspector. An active license grants the user the right to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

Licenses are non-transferable and may be suspended or terminated if these Terms are violated or if required fees are not paid.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service or attempt to interfere with its normal operation. This includes, but is not limited to:

• attempting to reverse engineer or extract source code
• circumventing license or access controls
• submitting false or misleading inspection records
• using the Service for unlawful purposes

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all inspection data and images you submit to the Service. By using Weldscanner, you grant us a limited right to host, store, and process such data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Storage and Availability

Weldscanner uses industry-standard cloud infrastructure to store inspection records. While reasonable efforts are made to ensure data availability and security, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Weldscanner disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weldscanner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including loss of data, loss of profits, or inspection-related outcomes.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
